What is Light Filling and How Does It Differ from Other Fillers?
Light filler is a hybrid formula specially produced only under the eyes. It has two main differences from other fillers:
- Low Density (Fluidity): It has a very fine structure, does not clump when placed under the eye, smoothens the area by retaining water.
- Dermo-Restructuring Complex: It not only volumizes. Thanks to its cocktail of 8 different amino acids, 3 antioxidants, minerals and vitamins (B6), it repairs the damaged tissue under the skin. “Light” gets its name precisely from the illumination effect created by these vitamins.
Procedure Process: How to Apply?
The aim is not only to add volume, but also to promote structural improvement by supporting skin metabolism. The procedure is extremely comfortable and safe:
- Local Anesthesia Since the eye area is sensitive, a strong numbing cream is applied to the area before the procedure and waited.
- Cannula Technique: In our clinic, we do this procedure NOT with pointed needles, but with blunt, flexible rods called “cannulas”. In this way, the vessels are not punctured and the risk of bleeding and bruising is close to zero.
- Gradual Injection: The filler is introduced slowly and with very fine touches into the tear trough. The procedure takes about 15 minutes and the result is immediately visible in the mirror.
| Under Eye Problem | Effect of Light Filling |
|---|---|
| Deep Pits | Provides a physical lift (volume) with hyaluronic acid. |
| Bruising and Darkness | When the pit closes, the shadow disappears and the color brightens with vitamins. |
| Fine Wrinkles | As the skin is moisturized from underneath, the paper-thin skin thickens. |
Eye health and the anatomy of the eye area is very delicate. It is a very important part of the world-renowned American Food and Drug Administration (FDA)‘s approved original products must only be made by specialist doctors who have a good command of anatomy.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Since the under-eye area is an area where mimics are not very active (compared to the lip or nasolabial area), the melting rate of the filler is slow. The average permanence varies between 12 and 18 months depending on the metabolism of the person.
Yes, you can return to your work and social life immediately. Since we use a blunt 'cannula' technique in our clinic, there is no bruising under the eye. There may be a slight water retention (edema) the next day, but it is not noticeable from the outside.
In under-eye bags with severe fat herniation (large), light filling may make the bag even more prominent. If the bagging is mild, the area is equalized (camouflaged) by filling the pit under the bag. The final decision is made at the doctor's examination.
