What is Glutathione?

Iv Glutathione Therapy
Glutathione is a highly effective antioxidant that is naturally produced in our body (by the liver) and is also found in some foods. It consists of 3 amino acids: cysteine, glutamate and glycine.
Okay, this introduction is a bit confusing. Let's be a little clearer.

"Free radicals" Free radicals are molecules that damage body cells, thus increasing the risk of developing many diseases, including cancer, impairing general health and triggering aging. Free radicals can occur as a result of natural processes such as energy production in the body, as well as exposure to harmful UV rays, accumulation of heavy metals, exposure to pesticides and radiation, smoking and drug use. Increased stress levels, which affect everyone, young and old, also trigger the formation of free radicals. So our villain here is "free radicals".

And who are the good guys? Antioxidants.

Antioxidants find free radicals one by one and remove them from the body. In other words, it provides a kind of cleaning task. For a healthy life, antioxidant levels should always be higher than free radical levels.

Why is Glutathione Called the "Master Antioxidant"?

Glutathione is the most effective antioxidant in our body. It is therefore called the body's "master antioxidant".
Glutathione is involved in many vital processes in the body, including tissue building and repair, making chemicals and proteins needed in the body, and the regular functioning of the immune system.
Glutathione is essential for the healthy functioning of the mitochondria (remember biology class; the organelle that provides energy inside the cell). So what happens if the mitochondria, the power plant of cells, are damaged?
When the functioning of mitochondria is disrupted by toxins or an unhealthy cellular environment, cancer can develop.

The main antioxidant is glutathione;

How is IV/Intravenous Glutathione Administered? What Does It Do?

Our body naturally produces glutathione, but the amount of glutathione in the body decreases due to age, stress, external influences, certain medications, radiation, unhealthy living conditions. Some health problems; Some specific health problems such as cancer, HIV / AIDS, type 2 diabetes, hepatitis, Parkinson's disease can also reduce glutathione levels.
Under ideal conditions, of glutathione should be in the inactive (oxidized) state while should be in the active form.
When active glutathione falls below , we start to lose the fight against free radicals. When active glutathione falls below , the immune system deteriorates. In short, lower glutathione levels mean worse health. However, if the body's total glutathione reserve is high, its immune and detox function is stronger.
Glutathione can be taken orally or intravenously. However, the bioavailability of oral glutathione is very low. In other words, most of the oral glutathione is broken down by enzymes in your stomach. IV/Intravenous glutathione is much more effective.
In IV/Intravenous administration, glutathione in the vial is given to the person as serum. Each session lasts approximately 10-15 minutes.

IV/Intravenously administered glutathione;

IV/Intravenous glutathione is administered for at least 5 sessions.

Low dose in the first session (600 mg) and doubling the dose in the next 4 sessions (1200 mg)

The bioavailability of glutathione is very fast. Therefore, it is administered intravenously within 10-15 minutes. In order to increase bioavailability, it must be administered in combination with another antioxidant.

In other words, glutathione serum is completed for 10-15 minutes first. Then another preferred antioxidant is administered. After glutathione administered via IV / intravenous route, IV / intravenous vitamin C or pascorbine is often preferred.

The most important precaution against coronavirus is to avoid catching the disease. For this, we keep our distance, wear masks and pay attention to hygiene. It is not enough. We also need to take care of ourselves, protect our health and keep our immune system strong.

If we do not have enough glutathione reserves, our immune system will not function properly.

Glutathione has an important role in fighting infections. When glutathione is deficient, toxins and acid residues accumulate in the body. This leads to rapid degeneration/degeneration. As a result, we age prematurely and become susceptible to viral and bacterial infections.

IV/Intravenous glutathione administration has not yet been found to have any proven side effects.

However, there is insufficient data on administration in pregnant and lactating women. Therefore, IV Glutathione administration is not recommended for pregnant and lactating women.
