What is a Sapphire Knife?
In hair transplantation, every stage is of great importance to achieve a dense and natural appearance. Opening a canal in the areas to be transplanted is one of them. It is very important that the tissue is not damaged and the blood circulation is not disturbed during channel opening. For this, the channels are opened with "sapphire-tipped" blades.
Sapphire-tipped knives have significant advantages over steel tools:

One of the important points for the grafts to hold and to obtain a natural appearance is that the channels opened in the area to be transplanted are made with "sapphire-tipped blades" instead of standard steel. Sapphire-tipped blades do not lose their sharpness. In this way, it does not cause extra tissue damage and disruption of blood circulation while opening the canal. The fact that the tissue is intact and the blood circulation is good increases the retention rate of the transplanted hair follicles. In addition, since all channels are opened in the same size, the natural appearance is supported.
The steps performed in Sapphire FUE are as follows:
1- Planning the hair transplant operation
The physician performs a detailed hair examination. Your hair and scalp are analyzed, your medical history, lifestyle, diet, daily habits... in short, everything that can affect your physiology and psychology is learned in detail. With the hair check-up, the source of the hair problems you are experiencing is identified and your oral and local supportive treatments are planned along with hair transplantation.
2- Determining the areas to be planted
The physician determines the front hairline and other transplantation areas that are most suitable for the facial anatomy of the patients according to the "Golden Ratio" calculations. At this stage, of course, the wishes of the patients should be taken into consideration and an agreement should be kept.
3- Local anesthesia and collection of grafts
After local anesthesia, the grafts in the donor area are collected. Extra comfort can be provided to patients at this stage. The needles used in standard local anesthesia applications can cause patients to experience distress because the scalp is very sensitive and sensitive to pain until numbness begins. In order to prevent this, anesthesia can be provided with "pressurized injections". Patients do not feel any pain during pressurized injections.
4- Preparation of the area to be planted / Opening of canals
