Stretch Mark Treatment

"HEALTH INSIDE BEAUTY OUTSIDE"

What is a Stretch Mark? Why Does It Occur?

Stretch Mark Treatment
The building blocks of our skin are collagen and elastin proteins, and it is thanks to them that the skin is supple and taut. If the fibers of collagen and elastin are stretched more than they can withstand, they tear. This leads to the formation of structures on the skin called stretch marks.
Rapid weight gain and loss, rapid development with growth spurts during adolescence, hormonal changes during pregnancy and skin stretching can cause stretch marks.
The concentration of collagen fibers in the middle layer of the skin varies from person to person. People with a high amount of collagen have a lower risk of developing stretch marks, while people with a low amount of collagen have a higher risk.
Skin cracks are mostly observed in the hips, thighs, abdomen, arms, breasts and knees, where fat is stored more. Symptoms can be listed as dryness, itching and redness.
When stretch marks first appear, they are red-pink in color and then turn white. The earlier the treatment of stretch marks is started, the easier it is to get results.

How to Treat Stretch Marks?

In our clinic, we treat stretch marks with mesotherapy and gold needle applications.

Stretch Mark Treatment with Mesotherapy

The first goal in stretch mark treatment is to increase the amount of damaged collagen. With body mesotherapy, collagen is supplemented to the areas where stretch marks occur and at the same time, the body itself is enabled to synthesize collagen. In addition, with body mesotherapy; substances that enable the skin to renew itself and prevent cell aging are also administered under the skin. In this way, the skin is renewed, moisturized and tightened.
Mesotherapy is recommended to be applied when the stretch mark problem first starts to be observed, that is, when the stretch marks are still red/pink in color.
The number of sessions in mesotherapy treatment may vary depending on the degree and size of the stretch marks, but it is possible to say that the average is 6 sessions.

Stretch Mark Treatment with Golden Needle / Radio Frequency

Golden Needle / Radio Frequency treatment provides skin regeneration. For this reason, it is effectively used not only in skin rejuvenation but also in many other cases where the skin is damaged such as stretch marks.
In the fractional radio frequency device; heat energy is transmitted to the lower layers of the skin through gold needles. Heat energy activates the skin's self-repair mechanism and collagen and elastin synthesis begins rapidly under the skin. After the application, this activity under the skin continues for at least 3-4 weeks, so the session intervals should be at least 3-4 weeks.
After the gold needle application, which is planned for an average of 3 sessions for the treatment of stretch marks, it is aimed to shrink the crack and eliminate the color difference.
It is also possible to combine gold needle treatment with mesotherapy for more intensive treatment.
