Dr. Handan Yavuz is the founder and medical director of Medlook Polyclinic, which she established in Nişantaşı, Istanbul in 2020. The motto “Health on the inside, beauty on the outside”, which forms the basis of her patient approach, reflects her holistic and integrated medical approach.
“Within the scope of the ”health from within" approach, Dr. Handan Yavuz personally plans and follows up healthy aging and longevity-oriented treatments and establishes a close and sustainable communication with her patients. With a multidisciplinary perspective, she aims to support the body-mind-spirit balance and increase overall well-being by offering personalized oral supportive therapies, local applications and intravenous (IV) therapies.
“It also specializes in facial and body medical aesthetics in the field of ”external beauty". It performs Botox, filler and mesotherapy applications using advanced technological devices and high quality products. It performs its applications with the principle of achieving natural, balanced results in external beauty.
Dr. Handan Yavuz is internationally recognized for her work in the field of hair treatments and hair transplantation. Founded in 2014, she has treated many local and foreign patients through Istanbul Hair Institute and has trained many physicians on hair treatments and hair transplantation techniques.
Dr. Handan Yavuz graduated from Samsun Anatolian High School in 1990 and graduated from Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1996. She started her medical career as an intensive care physician at International Hospital between 1996-1998.
He completed his specialty training at Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, Department of Anatomy between 1998-2001.
Between 2001 and 2010, he held senior management positions in the pharmaceutical industry in Turkey and international markets. Combining his clinical and industry experience, he founded Istanbul Medical Support & Training Center in 2010 and currently serves as its Executive Director. Through this structure, he has contributed to the development of medical tourism in Turkey and supported international patients' access to reliable and qualified healthcare services in Istanbul.
Between 2012-2015, he returned to active clinical practice as one of the founding partners of Medient ENT Surgery Center; during this period, he gained intensive field experience in the field of hair transplantation. Between 2015-2020, he served in his own private practice.
Since 2020, Dr. Handan Yavuz has been working with Dr. Handan Yavuz in Nişantaşı, located on Abdi İpekçi Street. Medlook Polyclinic’s development; it continues to serve its patients with an ethical, personalized and holistic health and beauty approach.
