Respect for Anatomy Your Face is a Map
The basis of a safe injection is knowing the anatomy, not the product. The veins in our face are like a highway network. A wrong “overtake” (wrong injection) can stop the traffic (blood flow). Medlook physicians pay the utmost attention to the following “Danger Zones” in each patient:
- Glabella (Middle Eyebrow): This is the area with the highest risk of blindness. The vessels here go directly to the eye. Very special techniques should be used when filling this area.
- Nose Edge Nasal wing vessels are very sensitive. Incorrect filling can lead to tissue death (necrosis).
- Temporal Region: In this area, where the superficial temporal artery passes, deep plan work is vital.
Complication Management: Is There a “Plan B”?
There is risk in every medical procedure. The important thing is to manage this risk. A trusted clinic should know how to solve a potential problem, not just perform a procedure.
- Early Diagnosis: Sudden blanching of the skin or severe pain during the procedure is a sign of vascular occlusion. The specialist immediately recognizes this and stops the procedure.
- Emergency Response Kit: In our Medlook clinic, “Hyaluronidase” (filling dissolving enzyme) and vasodilators are available in every room. If there is a problem, we intervene within seconds.

Scientific Limits: “More” is Not Always Better
The biggest danger in aesthetics is the “Over-correction” syndrome. Patients may sometimes insist, “Let it be a little fuller”. However, there are limits drawn by science:
- Tissue Capacity: The amount of filler a lip can receive is limited (max. 1 ml). If more is given, the filling overflows into the mustache area (Duck lip).
- Lymphatic Drainage: If excessive filling is done under the eyes, the lymph channels are blocked and permanent bagging occurs.
- Face Proportions: If the golden ratio is disturbed, the person looks “strange” rather than aesthetic (alien face syndrome).
Medlook physicians reserve the right to refuse to perform a procedure if the patient's request is contrary to anatomical limits. Because for us, ethics comes before commerce.
Cannula Technique The Key to Safety
In our clinic, instead of needles in risky areas (temple, under the eyes, jaw line) Cannula we prefer to use. The cannula is a long tube with a blunt (blunt) tip. It does not pierce the vessel as it travels through the tissue, it goes around it. This way:

No, it is not. Botox (Botulinum Toxin) used in aesthetic doses is far below the amount that will harm the body. It does not enter the systemic circulation, it remains only in the applied muscle.
No, we do not. As Medlook, we do not use or recommend permanent fillers (non-biodegradable). The body may react to these substances over time and cause hardening and infection.
Ethical reasons. The effect of the products on the baby has not been clinically tested (no experiments on pregnant women). Therefore, we do not operate on the principle of "zero risk".
